Classes emphasize the development of classical ballet skills with a focus on proper placement and alignment Students will learn ballet vocabulary through barre and center work while building strength and flexibility.
Pointe is an extension of ballet and trains the young dancer to build strength when dancing on Pointe shoes and develop their coordination and control. To dance Pointe each dancer is required to take a minimum of two ballet classes a week.
Classes emphasize the exciting and ever evolving form of dance. It is full of energy, rrythm and is a powerful expressive form of dance and choreography without suggestive music/movements. Dancers must be entering the third grade or older. The upper levels of Jazz do require at least one ballet class per week.
Hip Hop
Classes teach rhythm, coordination, musicality, and hip hop choreography without suggestive music or movements. Students are challenged to think on their feet while enjoying an energetic and fas-tpaced dance class. Our Hip Hop dancers develop focus, strength, and agility while having fun.
Sing-Dance Act! This class is an introduction to the Musical Theater genre for children. This class will provide young students the opportunity to explore acting exercises, simple movement for musical theater and an introduction to singing. Students will learn songs and movement in preparation for an end of year presentation.
Ballroom Dance is available to adults and older teens. Dates and times TBA
